School Meals

Our healthy, nutritious school meals are provided by Dolce. They specialise in freshly prepared school meals and as far as possible procure their produce locally. Lunchtime is more than a nutritious meal, it is an opportunity for your child to relax and socialise, able to choose from a menu which they find appealing. It is important that each and every child enjoys their meal and has the energy to study and learn in the afternoon. Please see the current menu below.

Children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2

You may be aware that the government introduced the universal free school meal initiative from September 2014. This means that all children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal. To make sure that each child gets the meal of their choice you have the opportunity to pre-order the meal. All you have to do is provide a working email address to the school office, who will arrange for your Live Kitchen account to be created.

Children In KS2

You will automatically receive a parent login which gives you the opportunity to check your balance online, view your child’s choices and look up recipes to see what is in them.

Free School Meals

If you are entitled to free school meals your child will still have the opportunity to pre-order their meal so that they get the meal of their choice. All you have to do is provide a working email address to the school office, who will then arrange for your Live Kitchen account to be created.

If you feel you may be eligible for free school meals (in receipt of Income Support) you would need to contact the appropriate department at Stopford House for information and a form to complete. (Education Division, Welfare Benefits – 0161 474 3878).

Children may bring a packed lunch to school if you wish them to. Children are well supervised during the meal and afterwards in the playground by mid-day staff.
